Lyddon Hall is pretty much slap bang in the middle of everything; just behind the Union, a stone’s throw from the Library as well as being near some of the other on-campus halls. You get to eat with all the other catered students in the Refectory, and you are only a 15 minute walk into the centre of town. Lyddon itself is quite sociable, with common rooms and an active Residents' Committee who plan events such as formal dinners and film evenings.
Lyddon students Love:
- The piano in the main hall
- Playing pool in the downstairs common room
- The social events organised by the student Residents' Committee
- Only having to get up a few minutes before lectures start
- Getting into town on the Free City Bus as the bus stop is only 2 minutes walk away
- The Faversham: It does great offers on food and hosts the student night Jagerbomb. And, after all that Jagermeister, it’s only 2 minutes to wobble home
