Student Life - Making yourself at home
Oxley looks pretty grand at first glance, as the main hall is just like a manor house – it’s beautiful! Not all the bedrooms are in the main house, instead there are purpose built blocks surrounding it in the green grounds. There’s also a bar onsite, a new gym, it’s right next to the Uni’s outdoor sporting facilities, Headingley, and there's a bus that runs you straight into town.

Oxley students love:
  • The brand new gym and the easy access to Weetwood playing fields
  • Being able to relax outside on sunny days
  • Having the space to plan lots of activities such as OxFactor (a karaoke night) and OxFest (an outdoor festival)
  • All the common rooms and social spaces that Oxley has, making it a really friendly residence
  • Going to the bar for pre-drinks before a big night out
